The first event by International Humanitarian College London x Ukrainian Education Hub in Great Britain!

The International Humanitarian College of London has recently partnered with the Ukrainian Educational Hub - an organisation doing important, often behind-the-scenes work to support Ukrainians, who relocated to the UK in finding their footing, building connections and moving forward.

Now there are over 230,000 Ukrainians living in the UK. Many are highly qualified professionals: doctors, engineers, educators, designers, navigating the very real challenge of having their experience recognised in a new country.

That’s a gap we want to help close

As part of this partnership, we hosted our first networking event at the college. People met, shared ideas, asked questions and, hopefully, left with something valuable - a new connection, a fresh perspective or simply the reassurance that there are organisations here that genuinely want to support them.

For IHCL, this is at the core of what we do: providing flexible learning pathways, tailored to the individual, offering short courses, professional requalification and human support. If we can help even a small part of this community translate their existing expertise into something formally recognised in the UK, that feels like meaningful progress and exactly the role a college should play.
